IMAD HANNA

​

Imad is an associate professor at the American University in Dubai, a confident and competent Interior Architect with extensive experience in working on a different range of projects ranging from design to execution. He graduated from the University of Holy Spirit USEK Kaslik- Lebanon as Interior Designer and accomplished his Master in Interior Architecture in 2008-2009. His interest in mixing architectural concepts with the latest technologies made him an expert in the Digital Design Fabrication field. Imad is a 3D studio Max Autodesk certified professional and Adobe certified Expert. He Received a certificate from Harvard “Teaching and learning strategies for higher education “ along with several certificate of appreciation for being an active member in the NASAD accreditation so as for his contribution in the success of the CIDA – Council Of Interior Design Accreditation at the American University in Dubai. Imad is an Associate member AIA, APID and IDEC

With his capability of bringing a design project to the next level, Imad achieved over a thousand of high-end visuals and animations for prestigious and distinguished clients in the past few years.  Apart from his digital and computational skills, he was naturally born artist. His unique artistic touch shows in his artworks and canvas. In 2003 he organized his first art exhibition in Beirut and since then he is omnipresent in the art shows and painting exhibition scenes.

 

Imad Hanna’s academic experience started at the Lebanese Canadian University where he was appointed at the School of Architecture, Art and Design. He was in charge of the courses of Lighting Design, Digital Design and software but also Senior Thesis and Portfolio Design.

There, he discovered his passion to communicate with the students with a total belief in the teaching mission.  In 2015 Imad moved to Dubai taking a step forward. He joined the School of Architecture, Art and Design (SAA&D) as an adjunct professor in Summer I, 2015 and was appointed as full time faculty under the capacity of Assistant Professor of Interior Design starting Fall 2015.

 

Imad is focusing on researching new and innovative platforms, applications and theories in Interior Design and architecture, Developing and implementing educational technology using a combination of Autodesk Software.
